Lorraine M. López is the author of four novels including The Gifted Gabaldón Sisters and The Realm of Hungry Spirits and editor or coeditor of three essay collections. She’s also written three short-story collections: Postcards from the Gerund State, Soy la Avon Lady, and Homicide Survivors’ Picnic and Other Stories, a finalist for the PEN/Faulker Prize and winner of the Writers League of Texas Book Award. Retired from academia, López currently resides in Western North Carolina.
