Anne Korkeakivi is the author of the novels An Unexpected Guest and Shining Sea. Her short fiction and non-fiction have appeared in numerous publications in the US, UK, Finland, and online. A fellow of Yaddo, Hawthornden, and Cill Rialaig, she currently lives between her hometown of New York City and Geneva, Switzerland, where her husband is a human rights lawyer with the United Nations. They have two daughters.
